Norilsk Nickel’s nickel output rises 13% to 216,000 tns in 2022
MOSCOW, Jan 24 (PRIME) -- The nickel output of Russian metals giant Norilsk Nickel grew by 13% on the year to 219,000 tonnes in 2022, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The output of copper grew by 6% to 433,000 tonnes, of palladium by 7% to 2.79 million ounces, and of platinum by 2% to 651,000 ounces.
The company has confirmed a 2023 output guidance with nickel production at 204,000–214,000 tonnes, copper at 353,000–374,000 tonnes, palladium of 2.407–2.562 million ounces, and platinum of 604,000–643,000 ounces.
